Reed Elsevier Travel Portal
We introduced the Global Travel Portal in 2008, designed and licensed through BCD Travel, RE’s travel partner, as a one-stop shop for all RE travel-related information, accessible through the RE World intranet.
The portal has broad functionality and provides employees access to up-to-date information including online booking tools. It is improving business travel data capture, and helping us identify those business units and employees who can benefit most from travel alternatives. The portal includes: RE travel news, site training and user information, travel smarter tips, travel policy information, global office locations and hotel directory, preferred vendor information, traveller safety and security information, and more.
In order to maximise use, we have trained over 1,500 employees, primarily through Live Meeting.
