Reed Elsevier NV has a two-tier Board structure comprising a Supervisory Board of seven members, all of whom are independent non-executives, and an Executive Board of four members.
The Executive Board is responsible for the management of the company and the Supervisory Board oversees the work of the Executive Board.
The members of the Supervisory Board are Anthony Habgood (Chairman), David Reid, Dien de Boer-Kruyt, Mark Elliott, Lisa Hook, Robert Polet, and Lord Sharman.
The Executive Board comprises Mark Armour – Chief Financial Officer, Erik Engstrom and Andrew Prozes. Ian Smith was appointed as a member of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer at the 2009 Annual General Meeting.
